Photography

My photography tends to reflect my love of being outside and my work is heavily influenced by my own sense of the places I'm drawn to again and again.

I have been fascinated by the idea of ephemeral glimpses, mere glances; the experience of places and situations explored in one image, one photograph.

My current experiments with Through the Viewfinder (ttv) photographs enforce this idea of the image being a part, a glimpse as well as an entity in its own right, through the distinctive bordering caused by photographing through the lens of a vintage camera or by layering digital images and textures.
